Plant Swap @ Life's a Peach
Summer is all about connection, and what better way to connect than through sharing plants? 🌿
After meeting so many passionate plant lovers through Plantasia workshops and events, we decided it was time to bring everyone together for the first (but definitely not the last!) Plant Swap by Plantasia Green Design at our beloved vegan café, Life's a Peach. This relaxed and welcoming gathering is all about sharing our love for plants, meeting like minded people, and growing Utrecht's plant community together.
Bring your plants, cuttings, and plant related items to swap with fellow attendees and discover new green treasures to take home. Whether you're looking to expand your collection, find a new home for a plant you've outgrown, or simply spend an afternoon surrounded by like minded people, everyone is welcome.
Your ticket includes:

Please check the following swap rules and specifications before attending:
You can choose to swap full plants or cuttings, both house plants and garden plants.
Bring only cuttings that have established roots. The only exception is cacti, which can be without a root system but must be fully calloused (cut them and let them dry for at least 48 hours).
Ensure all plants or cuttings are free of pests. They will be checked thoroughly at the entrance, and any with pest signs will not be accepted. This is crucial to keep everyone’s plants safe, please inspect your plants carefully before bringing them.
Pots and other plant-related items such as hangers, grow lights and accessories can also be swapped, but we do not accept plastic nursery pots. Please bring only non-broken items in good shape so they can be used again.
If possible, label your plants with their botanical name, if you are unsure, we can try and figure it out together at the event.
When you arrive, for each item you bring, you will receive a token. You can use each token to swap for another item (so if you bring 3 items, you can leave with 3 items). If there are leftover items at the end, we will hold a lottery so everyone has a chance to win some extra green goodies 🌱

Kokedama Workshop @ De Hondekop
Looking for an alternative way to spend your summer evening? We have the perfect solution for you! Join us at De Hondekop for a cozy and interactive Kokedama workshop, where you’ll discover the art of the traditional Japanese moss ball in one of the city’s most creative spaces.
During this hands on session, you’ll be guided step by step through the process of creating your own Kokedama, using traditional Japanese soil mixes and techniques. You’ll learn about plant selection, soil composition, shaping and care, while crafting a unique living piece wrapped in moss to take home.
As you create, you can enjoy a drink of your choice from the bar and connect with fellow plant lovers in a truly special green atmosphere, surrounded by plants and natural light.
The workshop lasts approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on group size. The price starts from €45 per person(excluding Ticket Tailor fee). This includes all materials needed to create your Kokedama, a limited edition Plantasia Green Design tote bag, and one drink from the bar.
The workshop is conducted in English and is open to everyone. No prior experience is needed, just bring your curiosity, be ready to get your hands a little dirty, and enjoy creating something special 🌱
Terrarium workshop & Aperitivo @Life's a Peach
Come create your own little ecosystem at Life's a Peach Utrecht with our fun and interactive Terrarium workshop in the coziest vegan cafe in town.
During the workshop, you will learn how to layer different types of soil, choose the right plants, and decorate your terrarium with moss and stones, designing your own portable garden step by step in the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of Life’s a Peach. To make it extra special, the experience is paired with a tasty aperitivo featuring homemade soft drinks and a selection of signature freshly baked vegan focaccias.
You can choose to create one terrarium per person with the Solo Terrarium Experience, or share the moment with the Shared Terrarium Experience by purchasing a ticket for two people. This means you can come with your roommate, sibling, partner, or best friend and join forces to create one portable ecosystem together.
The activity lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on group size. A single ticket costs €70 per person and includes all materials, a limited edition Plantasia Green Design tote bag, plenty of focaccia and a delicious homemade drink. A shared ticket for two people costs €80 in total and includes all materials for one terrarium. Each participant, regardless of the ticket type, will enjoy their own drink and snacks.

Get your hands dirrrty! Lunch&workshop @ Little World Kitchen
We’re teaming up with Little World Kitchen to bring you a one-of-a-kind experience that celebrates one of Plantasia’s favorite mottos: get your hands dirty!
We’ll begin by sharing a delicious plant-based Indian meal, inspired by a culture where eating with your hands is part of the tradition (and very much encouraged during the event!).
Once our bellies are full and happy, we’ll roll up our sleeves and get creative by making our own kokedama, the traditional Japanese moss ball that will bring a touch of green design into your home.
The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours, depending on group size. We’d like to dedicate 1 to 1.5 hours to enjoying lunch and getting lost in conversation, so keep your afternoon free to slow down and chill with us.
The cost is €65 per person and the price includes lunch and drinks, all materials needed to make your kokedama, and a limited-edition Plantasia Green Design tote bag. Please reach out to us with any dietary restrictions, and note that the meal will be fully plant-based.
